The PC game's own code, recompiled for Chrome and Firefox: up to 120 fps in widescreen, free roam and Online races with friends, and controllers, wheels and touch controls.

My brother and I played this game together about 20 years ago. Because of that I tried porting it to the browser so we could play together again. It worked surprisingly well, and it got a bit out of hand. It's great to see so many people playing it.

To help with hosting and development costs, you can buy me a coffee. Everyone gets the same game, with no microtransactions or paid perks. Supporters just get a Discord role.

Source code on GitHub. Based on Talha Müderrisoğlu's NFSU2Recomp, the original x86 → C static recompiler for NFSU2, after N64: Recompiled and XenonRecomp. This project was forked from NFSU2Recomp's MIT-licensed version of 16 October 2026 and uses only code from that version.

Steering

The button at the game's top right switches it too.

Which thumb steers. Moved in keeps the controls off the screen's edges.

Nitro on the steering side

For the thumb that isn't on Gas.

Level horizon

With tilt steering, keeps the horizon level.

Control size

Auto sizes them for this screen.

Menu button size

The game's menu arrows and bottom buttons. Auto makes the arrows finger-sized and leaves the bottom buttons as they are.
